Back from the ocean, Fresh off the New Bedford docks. Tired but too anxious to stay home in one spot. So I sacrifice my liver & need for good rest to spend my only time off making memories with my best friends. Fun if by land, wealth if by sea. Tryna keep a balance of both constantly. It's "fun" for a quick minute and then its right back out to see, where I gotta keep a firm grip on my sanity. I love waking up to an open sea, sun shining over my head, just as much as I'd love the comfort of sleeping in my own bed. My old lady says "You're never around. Even when you're home". We all have a dark past not dark enough to look past. We've all committed our highest of crimes in our lowest of times. We've all stabbed the back of a sister or brother and then manipulated the perfect cover. Then climbed upon a horse so high that only satellites could see us repent and cry. As if impossible to heal the hell that we've unearthed within ourselves. We sentence our assailants to social-deaths, via jury of the internet. I respect your right to be oh-so protective. Bare with me while i get a little subjective: The difference between you and me is i'm not so quick to abandon my sick and my weak. You've been guilty of infidelity and treason but have not gone without a rhyme and a reason. There will ALWAYS be reasons for us to scream and sing... until the very last minute when that holy bell rings.
